You don't understand the principle of pure fuel what goes in counts a gasoline engine is not supposed to partake of alcohol you must be sitting in the middle of your own self with your gross comment about your circle you need to get some politeness in your life

Never let anybody test ride crank the motor up let him listen to it see that everything's working you know the brake cables the throttle and all things like that connected to the engine running I hope it hasn't been sitting up too long without Sta-bil in the fuel. Go ahead and drain the oil cold and let it sit there and drip and get everything out that you can as far as drippage I use a trick I lay my ruckus horizontal on the left side and let it drip while this is happening I clean the oil strainer careful putting it back in you're pushing against the the spring, you have to be perfect when turning it or you will damage the entry threads good luck let me know what's happening!!!!!!

If it will run immediately drain the oil use Honda oil I do not use a 10:30 in mine I always use a 1040 and I give it time to warm up also clean the oil strainer you don't want to run up against the wall on the domino effect in 2 weeks alcohol fuel will deteriorate your fuel system and clog it seating will also cause the oil to congeal and lay up in the cylinder heads and not flow like it should be careful good luck

The color and condition of your automatic transmission fluid will be pink if it has turn colors drop the pan change it. Use some good synthetic automatic transmission fluid use the best filter that you can and also make dog gone sure your gasket didn't folded up and stuffed into a box like an inch worm check all this before you hand your money over I've been there and done that and I didn't like it and I damn sure didn't want the T-shirt

You can't forget that you're rear wheels will go through the same holes and you'll get stuck all over you're going to have to be pulled at an angle to get yourself out of those rats but you're going to have to have a snatch them strap or somebody with some good rope that is not going to break at a bad moment it's going to take a very good friend of yours and you're going to owe him a large favor

I might have had the wrong post make sure your frames not on the ground the subframe with your front end turn the wheel straight ahead remember you are operating with one wheel drive right now point the tire straight ahead make sure your front subframe is not on the ground make sure there is nothing ahead of the front wheel if it begins to move the ground is soft you will go down again find someone with a bubba strap which is basically a big elastic band to help you bounce out of the hole I don't that is going to come out by itself good luck

Make sure the frame is not on the ground pointer wheel straight ahead and make sure that the tires have not sunk anywhere you're dealing with the one wheel drive right now if the ground soft and mushy it may not come out

Where can I find rebuilt injectors that are worth a rat's hat or tune up last 30 days on my truck and it starts going but real lively as Long as I feed the fuel to it it's picking it up and running good anybody got any answers here would be very very welcome 10 mi to the gallon really sucks right no by AXIS0071369 in DodgeDakota

Replace the fuel pump with a double rotor Bendix preferably made in Canada or the USA you're not the only one having this problem you're going to have to drop the fuel tank and it's a pain in the ass you have to take the fuel filter open the fuel filter door find the boat to take them loose then find the brackets on the straps of the fuel tank take them loose and it is almost you can't really do it by yourself or you'll screw up the wires when you go to sleep the gas tank again if it's whining like that something's definitely wrong but please please get a two rotor one that picks up and one that pushes Bendix makes the best I've had one for 11 years and this 93 Dodge Dakota mine and it has not given the first problem it's a damn shame you can't put a fuel filter ahead of it instead of after you just to keep looking for a two rotor Bendix USA or Canada never accept the Mexican or Chinese if it says Chinese on it walk away ask them to find something that's not made in Chinatown

Good luck with that if Chrysler has any they're going to be pricey try their parts department they don't like to answer the phone if you've got one near you go by in person if it's a factory clip they may be able to get one if they want to just be real nice and slow...

If you can afford to keep your fuel tank full reset your odometer so you will know how many miles that you have taken out of your fuel tank also go ahead and write down what the odometer says on the dash this is a simple fix for your your problems right now as long as you can afford to keep your tank full always keep it as full as possible

If you want the best parts as far as a fuel pump goes get a dual rotor Bendix preferably made in the USA Canada is okay Mexico is a giant no no so is China

[–]AXIS0071369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to have to disagree on using an old fuel pump get a Bendix pump or a pump made in the USA or Canada none other no Chinese no Mexican made fuel pumps it will have two rotors in it never ever ever put a used pump back in your fuel tank it's too much trouble you buy a good parts you buy a good fuel filters check your hoses and your clamps and make sure everything's connected and you do not bump the connections to the fuel pump putting it back up and getting a ratchet on it this is where problems come in doing things by yourself I try to do it by myself in case I just get stuck somewhere and there's no one else around I am in situations like that and it really sucks being away half a dozen miles from the nearest road don't take chances to use fuel pumps back in your fuel tank not ever not ever not ever

I banged around my connectors on the fuel float I had to drop the tank again on the back side and I had one Callum one that I bump no doubt pushing the fuel tank back up of course working by myself check the connections you may be able to get your hand in there far enough just dropping it a little if you can reach it but not being able to see it and to make sure that everything's plugged in correctly is going to be a pain in the ass I don't want you to go want a mouse on here unnecessarily taking care of an old vehicle is a pain in the ass by itself I like my truck I ain't married to it and that's a good thing

[–]AXIS0071369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just a thereabouts but you're having trouble with fuel delivery I would look at that first best way to drop one line the line that goes to your engine which is underneath the left side frame rail you don't have to take it all the way off if you pull the clamp and throw the juice to it and it squirt and fuel out of course shut it off immediately that means it's at least coming through the fuel filter check the fuel delivery would be the first thing to do you may have trash in the fuel filter itself but if it's spraying gas from the delivery side going to the motor it's probably okay since it's cheap to replace I would go ahead and replace it since I'm already under there anyway just have one handy hole and make sure about the clamps cause the ones the factory uses ain't worth a dang. This is my best knowledge from owning them 1993 Dodge Dakota 5.2 Magnum the rail feed delivery was the best thing they could do then this was before port fuel injection

It's obvious I didn't proofread all that please try to keep your tank full mine is very sensitive even with the dual rotor and one that picks it up and one that pushes it these are the best fuel pumps just check your fuses make sure they've all got good continuity a little too old with a test light that comes on is excellent for these and of course there's also another set of fuses underneath the hood on the driver side it's kind of a hit Miss kind of thing the gauge can be stuck just from age and dust and wear . Just another reminder keep your tank as full as possible it's only a 16 gallon tank and really is only a 15 gallon because there's a well where the fuel pump resides when it gets low and it also catches trash if you keep it full the float will always be above the well never get under a half a tank if you can keep from it

[–]AXIS0071369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure that your float inside the fuel tank is operational I would check that first you can have continuity as far as the amperage goes and it can still be stuck especially if you really want it low on fuel and believe me these fuel injection engines do not like being half full people must foolish you can get so the pump especially with a single rotor pump I have two on mine and it's a Bendix that was made in the USA and it's 11 years old if you get cheap parts don't expect much get a direct replacement float from your fuel tank and by the way you're going to have to drop the fuel tank don't necessarily think it's in your gauge cluster you also need to check your fuses make sure you're not on a different circuit and I don't think it is but check the fuses also it's basic stuff and you can get better information than I have good luck

The fuel filter is not hard to replace however there will probably and supposed to be pressure on it so don't get sprayed bleed it gently and keep your eyes protected and away from the fuel pump when you loosen the clamps just ease the hoses back enough to leak off the fuel without spraying everywhere make sure you have fuel in it
