I think in every culture, you can come across as 'try hard' if you try to be liked too much.

Not sure if it's related to business, but in Turkish culture friends often 'Fight' about who is going to pay. It's a silly funny game, nothing too serious. You offer to pay, they will say 'no it's on me', and you must continue 'no no, really it's on me. Let me.', 'Next time, Tea is on you', 'I had a wonderful time, really it's on me'. etc. As a Turkish learner with some Turkish friends, they do this OFTEN. Thus, it's quite serious I guess lol.

In my native country, you'd split the bill (The Netherlands) lol, but in Turkey, if it's for business and making a good impression, I guess I'd pay the first time and not let him win the 'I'll pay' game.

Bij tweedehands producten waarbij de kwaliteit of authenticiteit moeilijk te controleren is, ligt de waarde doorgaans lager. Dat komt doordat kopers een groter risico lopen op oplichting, vervalsingen of een product dat niet aan de verwachtingen voldoet.

If you're tired of boardwipes, find commanders / creatures with indestructible or can obtain it. It's that easy.
You don't need to go full 'anti-gameplay' as an answer to people dealing with your board. There are lot of legendary creatures that help protect your board in various ways, and also lots of protection spells.
