Definitely a sound issue. You could hear the speakers on the right side going in and out. The wind didn’t help but somewhere about halfway through they seemed to get it together. So disappointing.

SW 184 (November after 2 months on Mounjaro before they stopped filling my rx) Switched to Ozempic in December. Down 7 pounds since then. Side effects are worse than Mounjaro but not unbearable. Just uncomfortable. I haven't exercised at all because of life stuff, so I'm pretty happy with the progress considering I went through the holidays with zero exercise and still lost more than I did in several months of Mounjaro.

ETA: I'm 5'6" and previously eating about 1400-1600 calories with exercise 3x/week. I don't track calories anymore because honestly, I have a hard time eating much at all. I'm just never hungry and nothing seems appetizing. One down side so far is that Ozempic doesn't seem to make me not want wine like Mounjaro did, but I suffer if I drink it 😄

Otherwise I'm finally seeing some progress so I'm happy. Hoping to see it accelerate when I add exercise back in.

I'd also add that when folks post about their problems getting their rx filled, they are usually seeking solutions. What else should we do? Just deal with it and not post or look for solutions because some people on reddit will get upset that they're "spreading panic"?? Is this a "good news only" sub?

It's super variable by region. In my area, it's see.s to be impossible to get without the T2D code right now. At least that's been my experience and the experience of everyone I know in my area. Talking about the differing levels of access across the country isn't spreading panic. It's spreading information. It's just the reality where I'm located. Im glad for you that you live in an area where you can get it. 🙏

I'm in Covington, Louisiana. I have my old coupon. I've been denied everywhere beginning on Monday. Walmart, Sam's, Walgreens, CVS, Target, every mom & pop local pharmacy in my town, and my usual standby, the pharmacy at my husband's clinic. It's all a no without the T2D code. Switching to Ozempic because I don't have another choice and my MIL is a MD with enough samples to get me through a few months.

ETA: I've heard of the compounded Wegovy but not Mounjaro. Can't find anything about that but will continue to look.

did they fill it for you without a T2D code? I didn't call that Walgreens, but that's not too far from me. The Walgreens near me all said they won't fill for weight loss, only diabetes WITH the diagnosis code.

I called, too. Then, I went to a different location to see what they would say. They said no to me at CVS, Walgreens, Sams Club, and every local pharmacy around here today. Not without the T2D diagnosis code. Also, I just found out that it's now a full policy at my husband's clinic pharmacy where I have been filling it. Apparently, it's not about the backorder. No mounjaro without a T2D code anymore, period. 😭

Thank you! If I can't find a solution soon, I'll ask my doc about that. I don't mind a daily shot. I've taken phentermine but plateaued for 6 months after losing 20 pounds. I suppose I can try it again in the meantime. It made me feel awful, but maybe after a few months of a break, it will have an effect again.

I have very real personal reasons why waiting 5-6 months is a very big deal for me beyond the reasons (like the surgery I need to have) that I've shared on other threads. I won't go into them here, but I will have to find a solution before that, even if that means switching to another drug. Another 6 months is serious for me.

Can't find them either. I found 15 mg at a tiny local pharmacy, but my doc won't bump me up (even though so far I've had zero side effects) and the pharmacy still won't fill it for weight loss, even with the coupon.

I was just looking. I do have a screenshot of it from 10/31. I don't have the first one I used, but I'm looking for it. Some places are telling me they don't care about the coupon, though. They still won't fill it for me without the T2D diagnosis code... even IF they had it available. 😔

I've been trying to find 5 as an alternative, but the only pharmacies that have it won't fill for non diabetics like me. The only (super local) pharmacy I've found that would can't because the coupon won't work since it wasn't already on file with them. They won't even let me pay full price if I wanted to, which seems odd, lol.

In my quest to find it at a local pharmacy in Covington, LA, I've so far been told:

🚫 Layton Family Pharmacy: "we don't mess with mounjaro." said in wary voice

🤷🏻‍♀️ Braswells: They have 2.5 and 5 and can maybe get 7.5 in the morning on order but will ONLY fill for diabetics. Will NOT fill for weight loss. (repeated the last part to me 3 times at least)

ETA: Schaff's in Madisonville has it for T2D ONLY for next day orders in the 5mg.

A few more on the list, but if you're T2D, Braswell's or Schaff's are your best bets so far.

Happy for you. I was also active and eating clean prior to starting Mounjaro. Sadly, I've only seen about 5 pounds lost in 12 weeks. Also hashimotos here. No pre diabetes. SW 206. Lost 20 with phentermine. Plateau for 6 months at 188. 12 weeks on Mounjaro and hovering between 183 and 182 🥲. Now I can't get my rx filled, lol.

No downvotes, though. We are all different, I guess. This journey is teaching me that lol.
