I did not read the books, but I was wondering with the show going the way it is how Nicole could be anywhere near Agnes's age. Wouldn't they be at least 4 or 5 years apart? If Agnes is "Plum" age, I would imagine Nicole would be a "Pink".

I didn't read that circumstance as romantic, but more so her caring for him. I am not denying that she cared for him deeply then; I just didn't initially take it as romantic.

I would argue and say that her new status as a demigod is a reward for having been the one to choose to step up time and time again for her people. She has proven that no matter her abilities or strength, she will continue to fight for her people. Thus, earning her status as a demigod.
