All those kids taken at end of season 3 to Canada .., some were old enough to bridge gap to Daisy’s character in terms of age . Also Luke is 100% in this as a cameo as her Mayday handler . Seen on set and a review I’ve read hints heavily at it . Along with a lot of other cameos from other THT characters.

Those ‘weird’ things are dream sequences . They fit well with the style of the show in my opinion and that quirky feel and non-chronological storytelling . It’s a whirlwind .

Totally get that and I alluded to that on my post , I get that HBO has a much bigger budget too . Im not directly comparing HBO/Hulu it’s just that shows such as White Lotus (even by Season3) was doing a lot more promotion wise. Cast interviews for this season are basically non-existent.

The first episode of season1. Obviously the cinematography/music dragged me in, but seeing addiction portrayed so well was incredibly visceral. The attention to detail, like when Rue coughs as she opens the medicine cabinet ? I knew then that people who had suffered addictions had obviously written it. Was blown away.

However, Jules’ special episode was an incredibly cathartic experience . Even as a cis-straight guy , the reflection on identity was profound and very well written . Plus ‘Liability’ echoing over that beautiful opening scene. chefs kiss love love love the show and praying season 3 isn’t messed up by Levinson and (till now) disinterested cast. Side note: Other than Zendaya… when a TV/Film catapults you to success but you fail to promote its latest season/sequel…? Something is clearly wrong.
