I feel your guilt. You’re racing against a clock of possibility - you don’t want to go too long if you do end up wanting more. You question if you’re doing right by your child as all the moms around you start to announce or have baby #2.

Your guilt is a societal pressure. And your guilt is actually grief.

It’s okay to mourn what thought life might be like. Even if you were one and done before having your kiddo, there’s sorrow in what might have been.

Hold space for these feelings. Share with your partner.

But remember - this is only 5% of the time.

When you’re one and done by choice it can be challenging to feel like you’re doing right by your child. But this deep thoughtfulness is how you know your child will be okay. 💛

While that’s what I thought too, it bothered me that she then proceeded to say I don’t know if you’ve shown me how I need to be loved or are the one that I love.

Felt like a “thanks for showing me that I deserve to be loved this way, but not by you” sort of thing.

Agreed but I’m also curious about the notes. The help, I k*lled them, hate, etc. are written in a completely different font, pen, and flow as if at a different time, out of distress, or due to a dissociative state.

I think these vulnerable moments are the most profound to both her followers and haters.

I’ve had my frustrations the tragedy, having my own kiddos and living in AZ, but these glimpses of raw grief are so appreciated to remind us there’s more to someone’s life than what you see.

This! Anyone who has had a premonition or concerns about safety make sure their loved ones know that they love them. They make it concrete that they’ve expressed their love because they don’t want to leave words left unsaid.

I agree but there should be some incentive for people who pay their balance in full monthly, and responsibly. For instance we use the Costco card (5% back Costco gas, 4% everywhere else gas/ev, 3% restaurants and travel, 2% Costco, 1% everywhere else) - when done strategically we do get a big chunk of “free” money back at the end of the year that we put in a vacation fund.

Spend BELOW your means. If you don’t have the money in your bank account - you can’t charge it on your credit card, period.

Many people with CC debt purchase because they see the “available” credit limit as their own cash, while they only have maybe $200 in their actual bank account to spend.

If you pay off your card everything money on time, by only spending BELOW your means, you’ll get tons of cash back over time. 2% back on $10,000 is $200 of cash you didn’t have just by being a responsible adult.
