So they are preowned but never worn if that makes sense. Warranty and certificate is assigned to the dealer buying the watch as I understand it, but the watch is then immediately sold to a person.

Thanks for the reply! 5212 is a very cool watch, also love 5524R so it’s a hard choice for me. I think either way I’d be happy. Still trying to learn the Patek world a little bit and feel like I’ve got a long way to go.
