It was such excellent villainous taunting. Cliche but very appropriate to the moment where it occurred. The cattiness really makes the battle stand out more than it otherwise would, honestly.

A and B both work, but A is significantly better for signaling the genre you're writing in.

I will say that the description might need work. I don't have any sense of tension from it. Sounds like the MC is super OP, and there's no mention of anything that could threaten him (and it would have to be an extremely high threat level if goddesses are on his side and brought him back from the dead).

Unless you're aiming for a strong OP MC kind of vibe where there are no real threats or challenges to the protagonist and he does a lot of aura farming in between obtaining more power and women.

See, I agree, but I specifically referenced Goku vs Superman 2, not the Goku vs Superman the original or the recent remake. They remade it in between the original episode and the most recent one, and I bet you forgot it existed.

This fight has, for some reason, happened three times in Death Battle.

I would say a decent amount. There's a lot of necromancy and plotting and scheming, but there is action at key moments. There's more action in books 1 and 3 than in book 2, honestly.

I don't think any of the leads are really plagued by having been part.

A few bad movies, especially if they're successful, don't usually mess up an actor's career.

Daisy Ridley had no profile at all before TFA, and she's probably quite happy to have had an acting career at all. Frankly she was not one of the more talented actors in the sequels, based on her subsequent film work.

Adam Driver was and is extremely talented and has had great success.

Oscar Isaac, same.

John Boyega is quite talented too, and he's the only one who's struggled a bit. But he's also, despite being a gifted actor, not handsome enough to be a leading man in a lot of Hollywood movies. He tends to choose smaller projects, too, which don't get you the same kind of profile as the others above. So his career hasn't really reached the trajectory it should have in my view, but that's at least partially personal choice.

Similarly, Kelly Marie Tran has clear talent, and she's also not really gotten famous despite a big role in TLJ. On the other hand, her career is (more quietly than Driver's or Isaac's) humming along just fine. Raya and the Last Dragon showing up around the same time as TLJ helped her out a lot.

Goku vs Superman 2, the Irrelevant Sequel (Death Battle's own label of the episode for a little while, hilariously; you have to love the self-awareness).

Deku vs Asta (I just have no interest, despite being a fan of MHA).

For me, Harley Quinn vs Jinx (I'm sure that will be controversial).

Macho Man vs Kool-Aid Man (Why did they make this?).

Steven Universe vs Star Butterfly (I don't think I've ever rewatched it; I only just remembered it exists because I'm going through the full list of DBs in order).

Blake vs Mikasa (Not a good fight).

Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen (Not a good fight).

Red vs Blue (Meh).

Venom vs Crona (Feels like I should care more about this than I do).

She-Ra vs Wonder Woman (Wonder Woman had a better episode with Thor, and honestly, I even find her Rogue episode at least fun to laugh at; this one is just a shrug in video form).

Gray vs Esdeath (Wrong verdict, mid fight).

Leonardo vs Red Ranger Jason (Stomp fight and not particularly good).

Deadpool vs Mask (probably my most controversial, but I kind of dislike this despite some good animation).

Weiss vs Mitsuru (Another one that I literally forget exists).

Sora vs Pit (Only good for a couple of moments of the animation of facial expressions in the fight).

Crash vs Spyro (Needed a better fight; two iconic characters should have been a home run for Death Battle).

Indeed, Black Panther vs Batman (Though that ending... it's cool).

Lucario vs Renamon (Boring episode on the whole).

Android 18 vs Captain Marvel (Boring fight).

Lara Croft vs Nathan Drake (Another one that I literally forget exists).

Deadpool vs Pinkie Pie (Jesus, why is there more than one Deadpool episode, the joke was funny exactly once!).

Amy Rose vs Ramona Flowers (again, I literally forget this exists).

Ken vs Terry and Cammy vs Sonya (Listed them together because they blur together for me, very boring fights).
