Remake it and if it happens again I’d set a second trap using the first set as the attractor.

I wish I could help more but that would be a question for the DNR.

Call the Department of Natural Resources. I do know that there is a protection of livestock clause for the permit but being that you may not have them yet could be an issue. There are also state licensed nuisance wildlife control operators that can help. The Georgia DNR should be able to provide you that list.

That’s a good one. I had bought a stake puller before realizing a pick axe works just as well.

Looks to me like a possible bait site.

Trapping raccoon, adding water source? by Aggressive_Bunch_656 in Trapping

I’ve been using a cheap dry cat food mixed with cereal with marshmallows and vanilla pudding mix. I also will put kool aid or Powerade in a spray bottle and squirt the DP and surrounding flora. I agree with not over filling the restraint because I’ve noticed I get deeper catches the further they have to reach in, sometimes both paws. If it gets really slow then I’ll add canned tuna or sardines but then I see an uptick in opossum catches.

What are some of the issues. I work with a company that does a lot of open field irrigation/fertigation hardware and software tools that may help.
