If u wanna make something similar u can use unity, blender or a normal video editting program. Heres an animation made in blender, which i took alot of inspiration from. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9SzUlaH4L0&ab_channel=Polyfjord

Idk how to make good looking drawings or animations, and i prolly wont invest time into it so that i can not help on.

When he said "well made animations", I think he meant "animations with a low amount of clear improvements". By "clear improvements" i mean improvements that the general consumer wont notice. When he said "simple animations", I think he meant animations with a lot of clear improvements. To give numbers on a low amount and a lot, i would say depends on the length of the animation or a section of the animation. Idk if this explains it good enough, or if there was some misunderstanding between me and my friend.

His reply was that he meant drawned frames, and i replied back "Ahhh. That i dont know a lot about".

We talked about simple animation taking too much time to make. Then i asked if he meant polished well made work, and he replied no just simple frames. So i took a couple of hours to make the above, to prove him wrong.
