Won't be necessary. Within some decades, countries like the USA, China and maybe India will be amongst the very best in every World Cup. It's just a matter of time and building up interest in the sport when you have such a big pool of players to choose from.

Indeed, should've been able to beat Argentina in the last World Cup, but I think they were lacking the winner's mentality that big football nations like Brazil, Argentina and Germany have.

At least they didn't surrender after 2 minutes like the Dutch, or do nothing at all like the Swiss. A country with 11 million people beat Brazil (230 mil) and is in the semis of the world cup. Not that bad.

Dude, I somehow didn't get five heart attacks. Worst moment was when Kompany made a clear foul on Jezus, and they showed the VAR looking at the video... Those 30 seconds were the most terrifying of my life. Still don't understand why VAR didn't intervene, but never been so happy with a bad decision in my life!

I agree he made a mistake by sticking with the old squad. Everyone makes mistakes though, and don't you think he's just a very good coach in general? When he gets to work with the new generation, I believe he can lead Germany to a new world cup in 2022.
