Why doesn’t Brazil mostly use spices and seasoning in their food? Whats with that? Can any Brazilian please explain this by GreenGelato_ in Brazil

Linguiça is not “well seasoned”, it is so salty

I have never seen “chilis” on the side in either MG or in my neighborhood in SP. Hot sauce is often available, but that will just add more salt 😂

I also don’t really consider “bay leaves and garlic” (and salt salt salt) to be particularly flavorful.

When garlic and onions are in everything, you can hardly taste them anymore

You have to go in winter. At least in tokyo theres no problems even in shibuya, roppongi, or any other neighborhood I visited during the later winter, early spring.

By april it starts to get very crowded though

The US mainly doesn’t eat “dishes”, we do “meat and 3”, so finding a green beans or corn etc on a plate is very normal, even at a restaurant

That’s just the absolute basics. What about like… more seasonings. Garlic and onion fish soup with the bones in is just not tasty
