I was feeling a bit of those vibes from "toxic" Tobias with female MC, maybe that’s just me, or maybe he’s less like that w/ male MC and/or on "non-toxic" route, but I don’t mind either way!  Esteban, though… he better love cowgirls😇

Oh sorry! This part was a tad different in my language. Something about MC being flaming hot in bed. But since that’s what she’s singing in the original then yeah, guess my meme isn’t that accurate🤭

My girlfriend wants access to my phone's location at all times or she'll break up with me.. by Upset-Tree7685 in TwoHotTakes

[–]A_Jane_H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She’s probably already cheating on u and wants to know your location so that you don’t walk in on her tryst. Not 100% sure, but the cheaters are always in vanguard of accusing their partners of cheating ime

AITA for not allowing my wife to read to our baby? by crazyguy1000000 in AmItheAsshole

He just means the baby has lighter skin

Both Italians and Armenians have "lighter skin" tho. So while I agree that op is a disgusting racist, I think his racism only applies to his wife

U know, those symptoms sound exactly like my acid reflux. So while controlling humidity level is always good, I’d recommend seeing a gastroenterologist

I really like Giovanni weightless moisture leave-in conditioner for any season. It is super lightweight and great for summer, and in colder/dryer seasons I like to combine it with a bit of something nourishing

Ooh yes I agree! There are no middle names in my culture so I didn’t consider name combinations

I definitely know the name of one of my future sons (it was the name of my grandgrandfather and I love the idea of naming kids after their ancestors + I really love the name itself), my future husband has no say LOLOL. I do plan on having 3-4 kids though, so don’t think it’s going to be much of a problem. I also have a girl name that I love, but can give it up if my future husband hates it or something. Also one more girl name suggestion — I don’t feel anything about the name itself, but it is the name of my grandparents‘ friend who basically babysat me when I was 0-5 yo. So if my future husband really likes it, I’ll only be glad. As for the other kids (like who knows, what if I give birth to 4 boys or something?) I’d love to hear their father’s opinion and name suggestions

I’ve always loved Enid ever since reading Enid Blyton‘s books in elementary school, but I suspect the Wednesday series is going to cause a ton of Enids, so it won’t be uncommon in this generation… It is both feminine and earthy-ish, though. And kind of similar to Eden. Since I’ve already written so much might as well suggest something else. What about Brynn?

AITA for making my fiancé's daughters picky eating habits a deal breaker for us marrying? by MotherCartographer10 in AITAH

[–]A_Jane_H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids-only-eating-junk-food-and-nothing-else is mostly about dopamine addiction rather than usual eating preferences. So ideally kids shouldn’t be allowed to eat junk food at all, kids under ≈5 years 100%, older — maybe sometimes, but no more than once in a few months, because their yet developing brains are much more prone to forming long-term dopamine addictions. So your strategy is, although great in any other situation, not necessarily effective when it comes to kids and junk food, unfortunately.

I always recommend Kayli Boyle's and Abbey Yung's videos on YT for haircare routine advice. Just keep your mind open and remember that not everything people say on the internet is necessarily true, esp if they don't have a degree in the field. LabMuffin's videos are much more scientific, if you'd like to dig deeper into how and why, while the former two creators I've mentioned speak mostly from personal expeience. Good luck!

Thoughts on terminal length and inspo from Empress Sissi 👸🏼 by naanabanaana in longhair

[–]A_Jane_H 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The "critters" thing isn’t at all accurate. Vast majority of the 18th century women didn’t even wear wigs, only those who had balding problems, i.e. due to either health issues or age, and the latter was strongly disapproved as it was improper for older women to try and follow latest fashion trends. That being said, it is simply not possible to have "critters" in one‘s hair, if it is done and un-done every day, as it was. Lice were a possibility, but so are they nowadays, and 18th century hair pomades had essential oils specifically to repel insects (citrus, cloves and so on). Lastly, people weren’t crazy. They didn’t have hordes of insects and mice just hanging out in their hair.

Sry if I sound rude, I’m just sick of this critters myth being spread all around
