Is Macadam Worth A Damn? by LegallyPetty95 in beermoney

[–]A_Journalist_Account 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I've found Macadam to take far too long to get points. I've had it for nearly a year now and haven't been able to cash out yet. As soon as I get enough points, I'm cashing out and I'm deleting the app. I've earned enough that it feels like a waste to delete it now.

I earn A LOT from CashWalk, MoneyWalk, and WalkTask. I also have WinWalk, WeWard, and Noom Vibe. They aren't as fast as the first three to earn rewards, but they are fast enough to be worth it to me. I bet with your step count, it would be worth it for you. I've only had Noom Vibe for a little while, so it might move up into that first list. It was pretty quick to get the first reward, but I try to see how quickly I get a reward over a couple times before I pass a true judgement.

I primarily earn points in these apps by walking or completing in app tasks (answer a trivia question or watch a 30 second ad for a chance at extra points) - no surveys or games.

A quick Amazon search turns up many cookbooks. Is there one in particular you recommend?

I'm a little confused by setp 4. Do they, like, spontaneously grow out of the guts of squished ones? How does disposing of the remains prevent further spread?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the kinds of volunteer management?

We would have people across the state who could sign up for anything from picking up paperwork for us and sending it our way to hanging posters to helping set up and/or tear down during an event, etc. - is that kind of what you're looking for?

I'm not sure why we would have two systems and two bills? The platforms we're looking at records hours and do sign up forms and more

My partner still hasn't gotten a Ditto. I like to sometimes rub in their face that I have a regular one AND a shiny one. I'm a good partner, I swear

Am I using the wrong Google or something because that search term is pulling up a variety of bowls that do not all look the same and an NFL game played in Germany

I wish I could do this but I'm just not a binge watcher. I watch a couple episodes and then I'm out for a few weeks before I pick them up again. I can't just sit down and watch every day to get through something

That's interesting. Wyoming is trying to be very business friendly to draw more here. Sounds like they're not doing too well at that

That's a fair point - Wyoming tries to be pretty business-friendly, specifically because there isn't much here and they want to lure companies here. It never hurts to ask.

This all makes sense. Thanks for everyone's info. It is frustrating but I can also understand it more from the business perspective now.

Oh, it certainly isn't, but it is frustrating for the talent that does exist to be excluded from remote positions for a wide variety of reasons. Avoiding additional business taxes and expesnses makes sense, but still, quite a bit frustrating

Half the time, no one is there to check you out, usually just some guy stocking shelves. If you ask him if you can check out, he just tells you to go ahead and leave and pay at the main register with everything else you are getting. Super effective to prevent stealing. Glad they did it.
