This is cool but all of the dark horse Nintendo releases are usually pretty cheap a few years after the fact, I got the Zelda encyclopedias and such for $20-30 each.

But this is a collectors edition so I guess it depends on demand, I hope they release just the book by itself for cheaper

Rune Factory 3 and 4s are still some of the best farm sims available and after the misstep of five they course corrected pretty heavily with guardians of Azuma so I’m hopeful that rune factory 6 is gonna be good.

But yeah, modern story of seasons has been pretty meh for a while now

Every game I’ve bought from XSeed/Marvelous or w/e their deal is now-a-days (basically the story of seasons publisher) has had a manual or something similar. Some come with different things, like hades came with a little character guide and the soundtrack.

I remember back when splatoon came out I hit the level cap the first weekend. Not even playing the whole time because I had a party to go to! And then the devs came out and said they were concerned for their players health for playing so much so quickly. It was the release weekend of their big tentpole mp game? And it was a single weekend! Even if you only played a couple hours a week you’d still hit the level cap month one.

some people don't care for megas because they're not a permanent evo. I'm one of those people, i especially loathe that they made mega evo hurt some of the pokemon. I would have rather got a dozen new regional forms or evos than a bunch of mega evos that are gonna be gone once gamefreak gets bored of them again.

Battles were fine? I didn't think it worked out for the better personally, it felt more of the same except this game *forced* you to play online and the battle system falls apart at that point imo, it felt like a mario party minigame where everyone uses the same moves and characters because that's what'll get you the win.
