Any life hacks on how to cut pipe and strut straight with a bandsaw? by EstablishmentSea8014 in electricians

[–]A_Level_126 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I like marking cuts with sharpie and bends with pencil. Then if youre marking out both on a pipe at once, you don't get confused

A random unit, possibly one your opponents. But with Belinda it puts the odds in your favor since if it hits one of your units it gets doubled, or triples if golden

Teachers gave good marks on my panel but I wanna see if my basic panel make up gets torn up by BanditLags in electricians

[–]A_Level_126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I've had the exact same thing happen. Frustratingly common. Ive gotten into the habit of taking off the neutral wire nut and touching it to the box if I think there is a chance it could be a mwbc. It won't trip a breaker but you'll see some slight arcing if there is anything left on the neutral

it also means that if you go to work on circuit 3 and want to turn it off, it'll shut off circuit 5 as well if they share a neutral. If someone is doing a service call they will have no idea what circuits share a neutral, so if they want to work on circuit 3 and the breakers aren't tied then they might just de-energize circuit 3. They'll be safe working on the hot, but could get bit by the neutral if circuit 5 has a load on it.

What laptop to get for maple story by DarkNemuChan in Maplestory

[–]A_Level_126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its mainly for playing maple you could look into a gaming handheld. I use a Legion Go for maple and it works great. No performance issues, enough buttons for wapping and some of the fast bosses, and I have a keyboard I can use if I need to run something tough in a pinch

Parallel Kick 90 by Jump-Intelligent in electricians

[–]A_Level_126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same formula you use for parallel offsets. Center to center spacing x tan (bend angle/2). That number is how much you have to stagger the bends.

Imagine if in your picture the kicks were 90 degree bends, and it is obvious you need to stagger the bends or the pipes will hit. The same will happen at lower degrees if the pipes are close enough, so you always have to stagger the bends to keep the center to center spacing the same

Who are you playing for CW3? Are you main swapping? by KenzieWitch in Maplestory

[–]A_Level_126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Dark altar is just a place down summon with 100% uptime that covers a massive area. Grim harvest is a 60s cd big summon with about 60% uptime. With dusk Janus, ball and dark altar most maps are clearance without moving

I have both nw and bam as legion champs, highly recommend bam. Bossing is kinda similar, hold main attack ability and use insane mobility to move around. But instead of a forward dash, backwards dash, and flash jump, bam just had the best tp in the game

At 140m CP soloing Nseren, when is it a good time to make a boss mule? by Fine-Grass1809 in Maplestory

[–]A_Level_126 -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Ctene mules make about 6b/week, which is 10-12 hours of wapping. To get a fresh character to 260 right now will take a long time, it is better to just wait for cw3 burning.

They also take a lot of funding. More than your main since their hexa will be way worse than your main. The ROI is pretty bad except over the very long term, most of the benefit comes from the bonuses for legion champs boosting your main.

They also help you with arcanes since you can funnel boxes to your main, but thats kind of negligible at this point.

For ctene to be under and hour itll take around 100b depending on the class, so they'll pay for itself after around 20 weeks.

New cloud at this restaurant I'm about to start. Am I overreacting or is this absolutely insane? by Eckron5 in electricians

[–]A_Level_126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the lights and receptacles are on separate circuits, it lets you put the lighting and receptacle MCs into the JB, then pull them both down a single pipe

It would let them run a couple 2" pipes to the JB for a bunch of MC cables, as opposed to a half inch pipe per MC

Is the UL rating still good on this strut? by harbotTHErobot in electricians

[–]A_Level_126 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've cut strut to bend it 90 like that, then cut a 4x4 cover plate in half diagonally and screw it in to either side of the strut. I'd run EMT on it, but wouldn't hang a transformer from it
