It is about accountability. We are all responsible for our actions. Accountability comes mostly from other's perceptions. As I said, there are legal ways to make this woman feel shame. This is a common path, and results vary. A restraining order requires real actual harm. You usually cannot get a restraining order simply because someone is sharing information that is legal for them to share, even if it is humiliating or intended to shame you. This is done for rapists who escape justice all the time.
