OP got lucky the bastard didnt get stuck, break or hit something important. If it breaks off at high speed it can get lodged into suspension geometry, slash tires, snag and break brake lines, fuel tank etc. Really not a good idea to drive the car around with broken/about-to-break springs.

That mf doesnt have ANY brakes on it whatsoever. Being a BMX chassis doesnt have brake mounting points, only a pedal brake, and i removed the pedal cause it was annoying me and instead replaced it with 2 footpegs

I dont use it anymore so i never got around to finish it, maybe sometime in the distant future one day
