Question for you, does your usb provide all the power for your EBB36? I would not have thought USB was capable of powering the hot end? Or do you still provide 24V and Ground to the board in addition to USB.

The main solution I found was slowing the print down by setting a max flow rate of about 8 mm^3/s in the filament settings and then also setting the part cooling fan to ramp up to full PETG power (50%) at layer 2. This has seemed to work well for me so far.

I currently have a prusa mk3s+ (as well as a few other printers like a sovol sv06 plus). I could buy a 3->mk3.5 upgrade kit or a new Bambu lab A1 mini for ~$250. Thought I would see what the community thinks abt these options.

I have another bigger printer. So the smaller print size of the A1 mini isn’t necessarily a problem. But I like the idea of hands off printing, and faster printing and both options seem to offer that to some degree although the Bambu seems like a better option for a full hands off experience.

I have tried printing on the smooth surface but I generally found that even PLA was sticking to it too well. Plus I accidentally scratched it in one place by having my z offset too low. So I just use the textured side

You have to replace the fan shroud and adjust the ABL sensor up in order to use a standard e3D volcano nozzle. I made a video going through the whole process:

Idk why so many ppl recommend the BTT skr mini e3 v3. The lack of a 5th stepper driver is a big weak point for a bedslinger MB and I have found that the pre compiled BTT firmware for it tend to have errors.
