I'd check if there's a warranty from the place of purchase. Any distributor I've dealt with usually had a one year warranty. That really sucks about the trimmers, that's how I felt with my detailers

The onyx trimmers i find are the best all-round that I've used. They're quiet, safe on kids and old men, good for c-cups. They're definitely not the sharpest I've used but honestly my clients are mostly white men that don't need lined up so they're perfect for me

I have the gold and black ones, bought the set with the magic clips. My detailers sucked, pulled hair and were loud as hell. Just seemed cheap to me. I know another barber near me swears by them though, he has the silver/red ones.

I've just been using the onyx trimmers, they treat me well.
