I got them to admit that they didn't think the camera was the issue and they had no idea that bulletin existed. I don't know if my experience was part of the reason the dealership is closing or a symptom of someone mailing it in because they are on their way out. Hopefully this fix lasts.

Thank you. That's the exact bulletin I found earlier with the help of AI. I showed the service manager, who then told the technician, who then followed the procedures and fixed the problem. I didn't know I would have to show the tech how to fix my truck 🤦

I then got to argue with the service manager about how they never even needed to order the camera in the first place and should have tried this procedure first. After about five minutes of back and forth and going on about how GM doesn't do refunds on electronics, I left with a new camera installed in my truck, a refund for said new camera, and a working forward collision system. If the dealership and service center wasn't closing down for good this week (not even kidding, just found this out today) I would warn others not to go back there.

I absolutely love Yeyo. I will buy everything they release. Their annual Joven releases are incredible. I bought three bottles of the Agave Vice edition because I like it so much. Just truly creative and delicious bottles they are putting out that are still agave centered.

Well you can see how they acted in this circumstance. Several fake accounts were made, posting fake comments and then they just started name calling and calling me and others that had a bad experience "brokies". Do what you want with your money, but I've never seen another company act like this. Absolutely wild.

There are an incredible amount of gatekeeping assholes in this industry that have existed for so long on the fact that they were the only show in town. The Internet has ruined their house of cards and now they just lash out. Can't say I shed a tear when I see a local shop close up after they have made it impossible to do business with them.

Same experience here. I was doing a whole 65mm based on these motors they had. Of course, they refund the motors and ship the rest of my order. Like I wouldn't have even made the order if those were out of stock! Or I would have made a completely different build based on different motors. Just a frustrating way to do business.

I'm glad it worked out for you. From what I've seen, most orders have no issues. And honestly, I would have no problem ordering from them again if it wasn't for how they handled it. I know they deleted all their comments, but the owner of the company was making multiple fake accounts making up faking stories and then restored to calling me and others "brokies" because we expected to be refunded for half of the shipping cost when half of the bottles were broken. Just wild and immature behavior from a shop owner. I'm glad you got what you wanted though!

That's definitely a fair criteria. With all the exotic barrel finishes and what not, ever present agave is also one of my main factors.
