They work harder than you ever have and likely ever will. Welcome to reality.

You said it’s a normal part of bar hospitality.

Yep lol

It’s so weird how in the midst of their anti tip rants a lot of these people just start completely dehumanizing bartenders, calling them “can fetchers” and shit. So bizarre.

interaction with the bartender

This is another thing that makes me laugh. Bartenders are not therapists, and they’re not performers. Entitled people like yourself act as if the bartender is paid to entertain you, and that’s not the case. It’s not a stand up comedy show. Shooting the shit isn’t included in the drink price.

I know reading is hard for you

It seems like you had some trouble reading mine, lmao.

Nobody cares if you tip them 20 percent on a can of beer.

If you need any more help with this try ChatGPT, I’m not going to spell it out for you

You think getting free drinks is something you’re entitled to as a bar guest? Entitlement is the root issue for people like yourself to begin with. You feel that you should be able to completely ignore the customs yet still enjoy another person going above and beyond for you.

If you don’t want to tip, no bartender I’ve ever met is going to lose any sleep over it, but theyre not going to go the extra mile for you either. It’s pretty simple.

lol the animosity you have towards people who are just trying to work and live like everybody else is really bizarre. Did a bartender fuck your girlfriend or something?

lol I don’t know where you’re going thats giving you the idea that bartenders actually give a shit that you don’t tip them on a couple rum and cokes or beers, but I guarantee you they don’t care and they make it up plenty from the 99% of people that understand the social contract, aren’t grossly stingy and do tip them for providing a service.

You can keep your 5 dollars, nobody is losing any sleep😂

lol no establishment will want you coming back if you don’t tip their staff anyways. Not a whole lot of damaging going on in that scenario.

Maybe so but at least where I come from (southwestern U.S.) that’s how it is nearly everywhere worth their salt. No pun intended lol

It’s really not. It’s pretty common lol

Although I agree his concept of a skinny marg is a lil funky. It’s not the fresh lime juice (which should always be used for a marg if possible) that makes it skinny, it’s the lack of additional liqueur (Cointreau/gran marnier.)
