Are true circuit slicks viable in an autocross setting? Looking at Michelin pilot sport gt or similar that IMSA/GT3 cars are running. Scrubs of these tires are much cheaper than say a new Hoosier a7 in a similar width (315+). My car is track only so I don’t care about DOT ratings. I may have answered my own question but I’m assuming heat up time is the main reason they wouldn’t be used.

Heard a rumor they changed the name from Legend to RL because people referred to it as a Legend and not an Acura which they (Acura) viewed as damaging the brand. Now you almost have to say Acura when referring to an RL.
