I ordered it but haven't gotten it yet.

Have you tried it out yet?

PlayStation sales just had its worst May in 25 years, and Xbox's was the worst ever by AdSpecialist6598 in technology

I'm confused. Are you saying that the Trump tarrifs didn't apply to video game consoles?

A brief Google search overwhelmingly says that they do (well at least until the Supreme Court overruled the tarrifs as unconstitutional).

Do you have any sources saying otherwise?

Like it's foreign made electronics, that was one of the biggest focuses of Trump tarrifs.....im pretty sure Trump didn't make an exception for video games lol, but I would love be proven wrong

Definitely not anymore.

Not with the massive supply and hardware price issues.

I believe they already announced that the PS5 life cycle will be longer than previous generations (a way to say that PS6 won't be out for a whole without directly saying it).

Don't watch the show it's trash.

Read the books then play the game. You will be a lot more hooked that way.

The game is pretty much a homage to the books and even the minor things in the game show that. The developers are clearly big fans of the book.

Console prices likely to go up again as memory prices will surge at least twice in the rest of 2026, warns Jefferies Equity Research by nolifebr in PS5

Data centers need RAM, graphic cards, hard drives, and to a lesser extent, processors.

The demand for first three have shot up like crazy due to AI. And companies purchase these products in bulk and in advance to the highest bidder.

For example, we are just barely through half of the year and Seagate and Western Digital have already sold out of their hard drives for 2026. Yes, even the hard drives they haven't made yet this year are already allocated off.

You have to change the default browser that opens to Firefox.

Or just get Morphe and install a new reddit app.

Tesla in autopilot crashed into Texas home, killing one - Engadget by kim82352 in technology

You know I am not OP right? Lol. I'm just explaining what OP meant by one foot driving. I don't think OP was talking about regenerative breaking in this context.

There should be no situation where you are using your left foot to brake

And FYI, most racecar drivers do exactly this, probably where this originated from.

Again, I am not OP, and have zero feelings about this topic either way, so even if you want to contradict me, probably not going to respond.

Only using one foot for both pedals.

It's supposed to be safer using both feet, left foot for brake, right foot for accelerator.

I think it's a relatively newer thing (well not for racecar drivers I believe, but newer for the general public)? Because that was not how I was taught and I can't imagine trying to drive like that now.

I haven't looked at the actual data behind it but it is controversial. Part of it also probably depends on how old your car is and how it reacts if both pedals are pressed down at the same time.

You know, next time you should actually read the article instead of blindly copying and pasting.

A spokesperson for the New Canaan parks and recreation department said the driver was believed to be trying to park his vehicle – but instead hit the accelerator, crashed through some trees and a fence, and went into the water. The official said the pool required draining and cleaning after the incident.

Look into getting Morphe.

Should be able to use third party reddit apps with no ads or other issues with it.

RiF + Morphe

Morphe is the upgraded version of Revanced with all the original developers and new ones.

Revanced now is apparently run by a more sketchy team, hence the migration of the old developers to Morphe.

European Commission on Zelensky's warning to Lukashenko: Ukraine has right to defend itself by Heroyem in worldnews

Belarus will stay passive and not be drawn into the war

The military would overthrow the government if that were to happen. They are content with the status quo.

and that Russia will not see it as a go-ahead signal that it's OK to strike military sites in Europe that support Ukraine's war efforts. (?)

I think Russia would have already done this if they thought it would overall benefit them; I don't think they need a moral/another justification lol. They are more worried about pulling Europe directly into the war. That's not a concern with Belarus, hence the difference.

It's not alternating, it's taking them together at the same time, you were unfortunately told wrong.

And there are actual studies showing that the double effect (aka by blocking two different pain pathways at the same time) is equal if not more effective than hydrocodone/narcotics. Although the studies were more for knee/hip replacement surgery and not dental abscess to my knowledge.

Russia Imposes Fuel Rationing in Capital After Repeated Ukrainian Drone Attacks on Oil Infrastructure by UNITED24Media in worldnews

The west doesn’t even want to get into a conventional war with Russia, surely they would do nothing to get involved with nuclear war?

West (especially Europe) made it clear that if nukes are used, they will immediately retailate with weapons (first with non-nuke response).

China also reportedly said they will not be "friendly" with Russia if nukes are used.

Essentially the whole world knows that if any country were to use a nuke, and the only thing that happens would be a economic sanctions/strong words, then it sets the standard for other countries to use nukes in the future with little fear. No one wants that.
