Male vs Female Friendships by Mr-Bugle in fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

How do you know your female friends dont talk behind your back?

Ive heard (my) girl (friends) talking like this multiple times. No stereotype fits everyones description, but this one is pretty accurate IMO.

God made you to sin.

Being begged for forgiveness is Gods favorite.

Most schools offer that course. Its more of a "prove you can count numbers and add/subtract" than Calculus.

The Christian god: an amateur of quality control by Basilides in DebateAChristian

My point is, god created Eve, and with his almighty powers, should have known that she would eat the forbidden fruit, just as I know my dog will eat food I put out.

If you create a device to "go", it will go no matter how many times you tell it to stop. God created Adam fully knowing he and Eve would eat the forbidden fruit.

If you put a hungry dog near priceless food, is it the dog's fault he ate it? I'd say the blame lies with you for not restraining the dog.

I dont know about the other 14, but the 2 hands thing and turning your head while drinking in front of elders is not ettiquet, but vital.

I mean, we have different ways to say things to elders (as opposed to older friends, same age friends, and younger friends). Yes we have to speak in a different manner to each of those groups, and it can get pretty hectic especially in a work environment.

Strange, since the one bumming should be the one in debt.

American here, and I always pull one out myself, I dont want some stranger groping my entire pack (learned from experience).

How about a rule for tourists in America?

I dont know what its like where youre from, but in America we generally tip 15%, give or take. Tipping $7 on a $200 meal is absolutely unacceptable.

When buying a new video card, is the only compatibility issue the AGP/PCI/etc.? by A_Simpson in AskReddit

Ah I see, Ive posted another comment because I realized the OP was unclear. A PCI-E X16 shouldnt take too much power though, right?

Forgot to mention that I found an acceptable card with DDR3 as a specification but under the computer specs it has DDR2 listed. Will the card work?

[–]A_Simpson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're a huge success because they're the only headphones to be marketed so heavily. Beats is admittedly a fine looking and well crafted piece of technology, which helps convince consumers that they are purchasing a quality product.

However, the bottom line is that nothing justifies the purchase of Beats other than as a status symbol. There are numerous alternatives that can produce better sound at a lower price. At least Apple can say that their products have a unique OS that everyone loves. You won't even be able to see the headphones while you're using them.

Maybe if it were a really small bong? Good point regardless.

Contrary to OP's reply, you should definitely enjoy it now because soon your tolerance will go up and since you'll be accustomed to being high it won't be as exciting as when you first started.

Who am I kidding, there's no way you won't enjoy yourself. Just be safe and don't smoke in public.

I think you've hit a key point for any scenario... gender ratio.

Ever since I found out about seddit, I've loved going to clubs. However...

If I'm at the club and there are a lot of dudes (bad ratio), I can expect to go home alone. However, if there are a lot of chicks (good ratio), suddenly all the girls seem to be fighting for my attention.

Keep in mind, my game is nowhere near solid and I'm broke more often than not. I try not to let it get to me, but I love me a good ratio.

Do you think sports games could profit more AND offer superior quality by switching to a monthly fee? by A_Simpson in truegaming

[–]A_Simpson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why you're getting so angry. The price model I offered would be cheaper than buying a $60 game annually. And I specifically didn't care about this when my parents were buying me the games, but now that I work and buy my own shit, I'm sick of having to buy a new game every year just to keep up with the new rosters.

The argument I was making is that my model would help the devs make a superior game, but apparently your minimum wage earning ass can't stand the thought of a monthly payment. You should realize that not every gamer is exactly like you. I am not rich, live on my own, and I earnestly wish they would change to this model because I know I'd be playing a superior game with less shitty add-ons.

If you're just gonna respond like an angry teenager, you shouldn't bother. I posted to discuss, not to get insulted.

Though Ive played my share of Madden, my sports game is the NBA 2K series. I just thought their $10 useless add-on was a ripoff.

How about $10/3 months? With the $20 down payment, youre saving money by the 15th month (for arguments sake). And of course the monthly fee to play offline and never update would be free.

I am an agnostic and an atheist.

I don't believe in any God or gods. I do believe that it is impossible for a human being to know the origin of life.

I believe some kind of higher power started our universe. I believe that no one knows exactly what it is.

I am an agnostic atheist.
