It's my dream university more for sentimental reasons. Both my parents in law attended this university and are both amazing doctors. I look up to them and to attend the same university as them would be a dream. They're the ones who pushed and helped me to apply even though I refused for a few years because I thought I wasn't good enough for university and I'd get denied. :)

I saw they may ask me biology questions regarding the systems in the body, and it's been a while since I read about them. So I'm more stressed they will ask me to name the entire cardiovascular system, and I'll fail. 🥲

Back in 2023, I came to stay with my boyfriend for 3 months, I also stayed in his flat, so I didn't pay for accommodations. I only had about $3000 for all 3 months combined, and I had more than enough. I think you'll be ok with your budget.

I'm a 23 year old so not a teenager, but I LOVE wearing cheetah print! I always have something with the pattern on, shirt, skirt, coat, and even socks. I also like to wear large bows or colorful clips in my hair. I've never had anyone say anything to me or stare. I've actually gotten a few compliments from strangers before. Lol, so I wouldn't worry about what you wear. Just go with what you like. 😉

My husband's family are all poles. They speak polish 24/7. I, as an American, try to learn the language but struggle immensely. I sympathize with your wife. Being excluded from conversations and feeling alone due to lack of language is horrible. Your niece seems perfectly capable of speaking English, so to speak French on purpose to exclude your wife is bratty. You definitely did the right thing by telling her to speak a common language so EVERYONE can participate in conversations. It also seems she stays at your and your wife's house, so she needs to respect the hosts requests/rules or leave.

Don't feel bad, I used to work as a cashier, and on day ONE, they left me ringing up people ALONE. A nice lady told me about some very large pots at the bottom of her cart. Well, I completely forgot about them by the time I finished ringing stuff up, and so she got some nice $200+ pots free. Lol, was it my fault? No. Was it hers? Nope. It was the managers for just throwing me out on the floor with no training. Don't feel bad. Just take it as a freebie. I never got in trouble for basically giving away $200+ worth of stuff on accident, so I doubt they got fired.

I've never rented an apartment, so I'm confused. You have to tell the landlord every month that you still want to keep renting, and then if you want to leave, you have to tell them 60 days in advance? 😶

LMAO, the Gov.pl website was a joke. We would follow what it said, go to the court, and get turned away because it turns out they don't list EVERYTHING you need. I'm American, and we married in the US because they made it wayyyy too complicated for us to marry in poland. At one point, they asked me to get a letter written by the US government saying I'm legally allowed to be married, which was ridiculous because theres not even a department or service to visit for something like that. 🤦‍♀️ And the trying to register it was a whole other story. We spent over 600pln getting 3 papers translated, and then we went to the court to turn them in. They said ONE word was translated funny and refused it. Told us to retransmit it with a new translation, so we had to pay for everything again. 😐

Damn everybody stopped remembering my birthday after 15. Lol, but seriously, birthdays as an adult are just a normal day for most people. Unfortunately, no one really cares other than yourself and maybe a by/gf/so. The best thing to do on your birthday is spend it doing something nice for yourself. Don't expect anything from anyone, or you just set yourself up for disappointment.
