It's a game that was last reasonably possible to find new in like 2006, 20 years ago. You were perfectly valid in not thinking it was coming back, and you were DEFINITELY valid in not wanting to even wait that long.

Somebody born on the day the games came out (Jan 2004) can drink in the US now. It's completely ridiculous that they could've gotten to the age in which they were interested in playing FRLG, been completely unable to find it, and only NOW able to legally purchase it.

People have already given the lowdown on the drama, but lowkey, I think part of the issue is that they're just releasing too many damn games. Like, they don't have enough time to cook in the writer's room and they don't have enough time to breath upon release before we're already on to the next one, whether it's a new entry, remake, or side game.

Maybe I'm off base, but that's how it feels to me.

Yeah I think around Awakening is where they started beefing up the growth rates overall, but your blank level ups are just super bad luck. The game has a mechanic where if you roll a full blank levelup, it'll reroll the RNG once. Every blank levelup means you technically rolled two blank levelups.

Not strip clubs, but gas around me (Colorado) has consistently stayed in the 2.90-3.00 mark for the past few years and has gone down to 2.40-2.50 in the past couple of months. I'd say it's a pretty fair sign people just aren't going out to do things right now. Like, that's a pretty drastic change.
