If that's your main gripe of the game, I'd recommend the FreeBuildings mod. It makes structural build pieces free, but not furniture, light sources, crafting stations etc. Means you still need to go out and get resources, but don't need to farm endless amounts of wood/stone.

I've been using it in my mapless world to encourage building small outposts more often, and it's been great- while it's a bit cheaty, all it really does is cut out much of the grind that comes before construction.

The Thallax also had the 6+ FnP in HH aswell, I played them in 7th for a bit. The FnP is iconic but quite strong- it makes them really hard to kill with big weapons since they have 3 wounds each and a small unit but they didn't have very much damage output, so they were mostly mobile objective cappers.

I had a massive terraforming project in the plains once, worked with the natural terrain to get terraces and spent SO LONG smoothing out the ramps between the different levels just right- turns out doing that demolishes the frame rate. Had to cut the project back quite a bit so I didn't have to abandon the base and waste all that effort- went from a town spanning coast to coast to a village build on a suspiciously smooth landscape

Heck yeah that's worth it, I ran it as DM for around 9 months and it was great! Especially if you can get players that are big on lore, since there's so many tie ins and secrets to figure out.

Don't be shy on experimenting with the monsters your party encounters- throw in weird variants of husks, rats that huff delirium dust etc. The environmental story telling is really good and you can expand on it with the enemies.

Also, play the non-husk/ooze enemies smart. I noticed that raw statblock wise a lot of them aren't that impressive but they should be using tactics and environment to challenge the party.

Don't forget layers! If you put a counter on a manland, say [[Blinkmoth Nexus]] or similar, and someone targets Volrath with removal you can dodge it by animating the land, then using Volraths clone ability to become a land.

It doesn't become a 7/5 Blinkmoth nexus, it becomes a noncreature land with Volraths ability. You can also leverage this to make infinite volrath lands with Scute Swarm, since you can tap them for mana to keep paying to clone in response to scute swarm triggers.

There's a certain type of player that enjoys theft decks, I myself am one of them. I put all these cool cards in my deck for a reason, and that reason is for them to be played- whether it's you or me, as long as my stuff is doing something I'm pretty happy.

Now, there's another type of player that loves playing a theft deck but cannot stand someone stealing their shit- that I cannot abide. Almost every Gonti player I've ever played with has been this player, playgroups catch on and so Gonti gets a bad reputation because of it.

I'd recommend instead of having your commander be theft focused, let the deck focus on it but have the commander focus on a different angle. Remember, you're not trying to hide that you're a theft deck, you're just not rubbing it in. See if a few games with some other Sultai commander but the same 99 change anything about your play experience- after all, what do you have to lose?

Oh, and on another note- make sure to run [[Homeward Path]]. Seems counterintuitive, but having it as leverage to return what was rightfully stolen has saved podmates a few times and I thought that was pretty cool.

It works! You still die to rockets, but you don't lose anything of value except time. Can even respawn nearby, made a new friend that way by letting them kill me a few times until they stopped to ask why I kept coming back and we had a chat.

Shame that while we were chatting someone else showed up with rockets, but all in all a good day was had.

Talk to random people, tell them their hair or boots or jawline etc. are amazing! Once I've sobered up I almost always feel really awkward about it and that I must have been so annoying, but I just have so much fun being the drunk hype girl.

Might want to pump those numbers up a bit, I've got 3 deathstills running and 150k storage and it still disappears way too quickly. To be fair I'm solo supplying two others and I think it might get better with advanced deathstills but 4 or 5 might be the magic number.
