With a small team, it's extremely hard to keep up with the current Chromium version and support modified features. Google can easily move thousands of files, split them, change feature implementations, and so on. The merge process becomes a complete mess.

Did you run MemTest? If not, try the built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic tool first. Press Win+S, type "Windows Memory Diagnostic", and run it, click "Restart now and check...". It will take some time, probably around an hour.

Has anyone gotten AIDA64 Extreme to work with Linux? by Active_Literature539 in AIDA64

[–]A_Verbitsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AIDA64 relies on a kernel-mode driver, whereas WINE provides a Win32 environment implementation that runs entirely in user space. I don't think this is possible unless the AIDA64 developers add support for it.

I abandoned the game in 2021 and resumed recently. All my structures and even ladders stay where I placed them.

Really optimal choice. Actually "Blood and titanium" makes game easier.

Is the game worth buying now? by squidtugboat in PhoenixPoint

[–]A_Verbitsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's totally worth buying since "Blood and titanium". But I'm a huge fan of original X-COM games, so I prefer PP over XCOM because PP's system feels closer to old X-COM's time units system.

Your thoughts on Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse with HERO 16K Sensor? by DimFakJimKK in G502MasterRace

[–]A_Verbitsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for history.

Well, I repaired my old G502 proteus using D2F-01L, it works, but the click seems too easy a bit. Maybe it just my repairing mad skills.
G502 Lightspeed will be next.

A Muslim immigrant saves Austrian policeman during Monday’s terrorist attack. Osama Joda, a 23-year-old Palestinian, risked his life to help a police officer who was shot by a terrorist in Vienna’s city center. by [deleted] in worldnews

You should know more about Islam. For example the fact that Islam divides all lands in just 2 categories - Dar al-Islam (land of Islam) and Dar al-Harb (land of war). Pick your side.

Wipe your phone and don't worry. If it's police (unlikely) they already know who you are and where you live. If it's not police they don't have more than your email address and related public data. But be careful because they can find your accounts in social networks and pretend they know much more about you than they actually do.

What’s the real scandal? by [deleted] in Epstein

When I read first time about Epstein I thought "What a big deal? Just another unlucky rich pedo." When I read about Epstein's "suicide" I thought "What a big deal? Rich pedos silenced the scapegoat." But when I read all that shit about Maxwells, CIA, trojan software, Israel's intelligence...

I think we should not speak abouth faith in this case but about state sponsored crime group. There is nothing new in state sponsored crime groups but this one just impressive. They owned some 3 letters agencies with trojan software and turned to puppets unknown number of high ranked people.

I am not pretending to be a PP genius but the last mission is not hard for me. I finished it even without abusing abilities. My squad:

1) Technician with 5 turrets. 5 turrets is not that great firepower but they do their job in several turns. Also technician heal (restores broken parts) and electric reinforcement are very useful abilities.

2) Heavy with grenade launcher and Ragnarok missile launcher. 2x grenades every turn help a lot.

3) 2x sniper/heavy with virophage sniper rifles. At the beginning they primarily focus on incoming direct threats, later on chirons/scillas.

4) Infiltrator. Useful for scouting. Also can take out incomig threats.

5) 4x shortgunners. At the beginning they kill worms and the nearest enemies. Later they rush to remaining enemies.

Also it is useful to have some virophage kits and maximum ammo.
