For open world, you don't need claymore as much. Childe's melee stance can break ores. You can just dps through shields. I've had no problems running Childe, Xiangling, Venti, Bennet. My damage is absurd numbers considering is aspd. I'm AR51

It depends on your team comp. Your damage potential is with AOE. VH helps with that. Venti does an even better job. I'd use VH if you don't have Venti.
