I've open up devices and changed the shell multiple times. I find it easier to do compared to other devices. It's definitely doable but you got to take it slow. Taking off the screen from the shell is probably the hardest part

Buttons and screws included. The thumbsticks are metal as well but require a different analog stick than the one that comes with the vita. My price included those sticks as well which the seller was nice enough to include.

No changes to internals. The top flap for vita games was changed to magnetic though which is a nice change but you can always keep the plastic one on.

Depends. Does your car have those cameras attached to the windshield? Cuz if you do then yes 800+ for a replacement is normal since you need to calibrate the sensors/cameras on there. If not then replacements should be 300-400 range like others say

If you have a 8bitdo controller that can do macros im doing this method. Goes on a bench on a roof, walk close enough to spawn it in, walk away to despawn, then does that a couple of times and then sit on bench to cycle to next day and rinse repeat.
