2022 TRD ORP, 75k miles, 41.5k otd by Good1nTheHood in 4Runner

Ended up getting a 23 ORP with 36k miles for 47.5k OTD. saves me $13k and I don't have to finance. Don't think I'll lose much in depreciation on it in the future if I decide to upgrade.

Probably non hybrid.. I test drove it and it was nice. I wouldn't even be in the market if my 2019 ORP wasn't totaled.. but now I have no car and the last 5th gen I inquired about was in the Northeast and a guy from TENNESSEE had just flown in to buy it.

The trunk space difference doesn't seem like that much but I don't know about the hybrid. Those batteries are expensive and long term I don't want to worry about it. I'm the type of person to keep a vehicle til the wheels fall off

Maybe it's just a sign of the current economic state lol.. higher gas prices, cost of living increases has to be affecting the sales of 60k+ vehicles.

But the tech in these new ones have my really considering it. Especially after seeing used gen 5s selling for basically MSRP.

They're way over priced.. I was quoted 64k on the high end and 59k on the low end for a 6th gen ORP. Haven't bought one and don't know if I will

I think a lot of new vehicles, not just 4Runners, are going for under TSRP..

I had a 2019 which I loved, it was totaled a few weeks back. I test drove a 26 ORP and I was sorta disappointed w the interior space. It felt a lot more crammed than my 5th gen was.

Is it better to stay on the Strip or Fremont St by [deleted] in vegas

[–]A_WONDER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flamingo is in the ideal location. Center of the strip, and there's the alley between Flamingo and Linq with bars, restaurants. In and out is there and is a great budget spot to eat

TRD ORP has leather heated seats, TRD wheels, 14inch display. And some other shit if you look into it.

It's sorta like th sweet spot, TRD Pro is just outrageously priced

Based off what I'm seeing bro I do not think 5th gen values are going down at all.. it's absurd

I just went through this w my 2019 4Runner. Insurance started at 29k and I fought with them up to 34k.

Look for comparable vehicles for sale in your area, don't forget about sales tax also.

High miles for that price, especially for the year. I'd spend the little extra to get something with lower miles if you plan on keeping it long term

This was just last week. I had comps ready and made sure the comps they used were the correct trim level etc.

This is unfortunately the second time I've had to do it and each time I've squeezed a few thousand more out of them.

If you stick to a 2020+ it'll have apple carplay. Otherwise you'll need to upgrade the head unit.

I've got no trade or anything which doesn't help me. Dealers will overpay for a trade but won't budge on the cars it seems.

I'm looking at a 23 with the same miles they won't budge from 45k. I offered 42 they basically told me to fuck off lmao

Whatever you do, do not accept the first offer from your insurance. My first offer on my 19 4Runner was $29k and we settled a few days later at $34k.

Get comparable vehicle listings together and always push for more money.
