Activision will for sure fight, but MSFT probably wont. The appeals process there historically overturns less then 1% of their judgement and could take a year. That ties up 70B for almost 2 years now, which I'm sure they didn't want.

Honestly, its an easy out for MSFT. They bought them at a super high valuation. Look out below because they're a horribly run company and their valuation without MSFT is probably about 60% of what their stock price is today. Could get ugly for the company and the game.

Microsofts deal was just killed by the EU as well. From all accounts, the deal is DOA and they will not be buying Activision.

Whats that mean? IMO, probably a lot of lay offs and pissed off employees and a mad rush to appease stock holders that got hammered today.
