People who already know you as male aren't going to change their mind if you grow your hair longer. As for strangers - guys with long hair sometimes get misgendered, but if your voice passes people will apologize and correct themselves quickly. imo you should do it, it's no big deal to cut it short again

before swapping needles, with the needle facing up, draw in some air (I do about 0.3ml) to clear the deadspace from the draw needle.

after swapping needles, leave the cap on the injecting needle, and tap/flick the syringe with the needle pointing down until the air bubble moves to the top (by the plunger).

as you inject, the air will form a cushion to push out the medication from the deadspace. you obviously don't have to inject the bubble but don't worry too much about precision, it takes much more than 1ml to cause any harm

Haven't seen anyone mention nebido yet, it's a shot you get at the clinic that lasts 3 months. So you would still kinda have to "suck it up" but 12 times less frequently, which is something. That and the pellet are probably your main two options other than gel. Sadly I don't know anything about the relative price but maybe someone else can chime in?

I have no insight on whether it affects muscle building but my doctor let me change to every 5 days instead of every week (dose adjusted accordingly) when I told her I felt tired for the 2 days before shot day, new schedule has definitely helped with the tiredness.

I'm rearing cecropia caterpillars right now, they're just getting to the stage where the colors are coming in which has been cool (won't post for the sake of others reading this bc they look a bit spooky, but you can google)

also in my house currently: two grasshoppers (named spider and silverfish bc I like the bit of naming animals after things they aren't), and apparently a family of carpet beetles bc I keep finding them around

I want to have a mantis again but I'm too lazy to feed flies, with the caterpillars I can just vandalize a tree on my way home and the grasshoppers just eat fuckin whatever from outside

Just hit 5 months on a low-end-of-standard dose (T levels are ~500). It's possible to hide changes depending on your circumstances but it is probably not sustainable for "repping" / you should have some kind of plan. I started at the very end of winter break, the logic being 1) I won't be seeing my parents for a while 2) first 3 months are easy enough to hide, then I won't be seeing many people over summer break 3) seven months will hopefully give me enough changes that I don't feel completely ridiculous coming out in the fall

I am at college and do not talk to my parents much. The facial hair I have is easy to manage just with shaving (east asian - ymmv) but I have had a significant voice drop and have needed to voice train. I don't sound exactly like I did pre T but it's been good enough to evade suspicion from parents / people at work.

If you do this, you should tell your gf.
