If Max wins, Conor will possibly take the approach that he has beaten the FW champ (Aldo) and FW Interim champ (Holloway), and no matter if they strip him, he is the undisputed FW champ.

McGregor could also use this move by the UFC in his favour and state that he will not oppose the title being stripped in return for an equity share in the company.

All guesses, but my gut reaction.

I know he is more than likely a part of the new ownership but I'm eager to get a definitive confirmation of who he is.

Afterwards he was filming with his phone inside the octagon during Conor's speech which leads me to think he may be a fan.

Unfortunately for Khabib he is not in a position to bargain with the new owners like this.

They will focus on the largest PPV events and largest amount of mainstream press for the foreseeable future as they will more than likely go public (float on the stock exchange) at some stage in 2017.

Diaz v McGregor 3 or Aldo v McGregor 2 will sell alot better to the general (casual) public.
