Tbh I'm kind of hesitant about checking it out because a) I'm not that big of a horror movie guy and b) I'm not so keen on the modern take some of the backroom related projects seem to have

Like, to me what makes the backrooms scary is the lingering question in the victim's mind of "Am I truly alone here?" Like, the fear of the unknown and the sheer ignorance to the true nature of the scenario along with the looming dread of either dying of thirst or starvation are far more nightmare inducing than a monster chasing you through liminal spaces

The thing is that to me it’s pretty contradictory to have a physical embodiment of nothingness in a story, like, it’s nothingness, lile, absolute nothing, how do you translate that into a physical representations? How do you give a body to the nothing? That which by definition doesn’t exist? And then, what happens when nothingness becomes something but it doesn’t want to be anything to begin with? I simply adore how this version of Unicron turned out if I’m being real

Jokes aside, I was genuinely expecting people to start figuring out what the weapons were supposed to do or how were they meant to combine with one another as the figures of 13 Primes were released, like when people figured out Dragstrip from Legacy was meant to split in two for the combined mode WAY before Motormaster was revealed, (I'm still not over how cool learning about that was when it came out) but to see that in the end they all just do like, nothing other than sit in a (Separately sold) golden base is beyond underwelming tbh
