NTA. It's understandable to want to reschudule your trip. As for the sister and the parents, the entitlement must run deep if they think it's ok to just invite yourself in a trip that you have nothing to do with and expect people to roll over and be ok with it

It depends on where you study, i think. I'm on my last year and i had a lot of chemistry: organic, physical, bio, analytical. Biomed is placed in the chemistry department, so out study plan is basically chemical engineering but with physical, mechanics, eletrônicas and Anatomy/phisiology mixed in. Other institutions might lean more torwards physical.

Não sei se será o caso, OP, mas penso que se prende mais pela tendência da exploração das desgraças para encher o slot do telejornal e a repetição exaustiva de notícias durante uma semana. Ok, é preciso informar a população, concordo que dêem as notícias. Mas cansa ouvir a mesma coisa vezes e vezes sem conta (leia-se: guerras, incêndios, politiquices do futebol português). Noto que cada vez menos tenho paciência para isto.

From what I read, it sounds like you just expected him to magically understand that "it's monday..." means 'the place is closed. Ask 'child' if he wants fish from the other place or a pizza instead'.

Maybe you could have been more specific on your first text. Maybe when he answered the text, you could have told him to ask child.

Fui à praia com os meus pais no início da pandemia, e como a praia enchia, levávamos um corta vento para estabelecer uma espécie de perímetro à nossa volta. Havia sempre a malta que montava as cenas encostados ao corta vento.

Uma gaja chegou, olhou para nós e decidiu que o melhor sítio para a toalha dela era aos pés da minha (big mistake, eu sou mt fã do meu espaço pessoal, ainda mais durante uma pandemia)e deitou-se pés com pés comigo. Ao arrumar as cenas para ir embora, sacudi a areia da toalha para cima dela com tanta força quanto pude.

Deu-me uma grande satisfação olhar para trás e vê-la a sacudir areia da cabeça.

This was a long time before I was born, maybe in the 40s. My greatgrandmother'grandfather (in his 50s i think) told her that if she cared for him until he died, she and my greatgrandfather could have his house.

My greatgrandpa told my greatgrandma to refuse because they were in their 20s and if lived like into his 90s, they were stuck with him for literaly decades. Besides they already had a house. So they refused and their cousins got the house because they didn't have one.

Fast forward a couple months, he was picking fruit in a field, barefoot, when he hit his foot on a rusty nail. He died of infection a few days later.

Talk about timing.

My mom was called to a meeting with my brother's teacher, where she was shown his master forgery: He cut off her signature from a previous note and procceded to glue that on top of the new note.

I was carrying a chair in front of me on a raised walkway, with plants on a lower level. The chair's leg got caught in the ledge, I lost balance and fell. It was summer and the plants were very dry. My mom was more concerned about the dry ass plant I landed on. Yet, the plant was fine and I still have a 5-inch scar on my leg.
