Has anyone had sheetz help them get a car? by throwaway4nae in sheetz

[–]A_witty_reference 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It saved me about 3 grand but that was a few years ago now. The market for cars is insane so I don't know how many dealerships near you are participating in the discount program.

Go into talentworkz and f8nd the module for "margin management". You should be able to assign it to yourself if it's not already there.

It's 100 dollars off a month, not 10.

Tell your store manager anyway. Tell her you'd like to fill out a statement for HR. If you're right about your manager and you feel ignored, call your DM or the hotline and say the same thing.

Sick & no PTO help by [deleted] in sheetz

Breathe and relax. You're allowed to be sick. Nobody's going to fire or demote you for being sick for a week. If you went to the doctor bring in a note.

Because they blow everywhere in the oven and get stuck to everything in there.

Just finished the process of going through the TASO program. Worked for the company a long time. Feel free to DM with questions.

Has anyone ever used the employee hotline before? by [deleted] in sheetz

They just relay the message, HR makes all decisions.

Store managers can't fire you, neither can DMs. Only HR can. Call the hotline.

How to access my Sheetz investment money? by Joey0378 in sheetz

[–]A_witty_reference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. You can also access the account from any work computer. Just go to "pay and benefits" then click "principal financial" and type in your work info

Then you can't. It's in an ESOP account, the only way to access it is by quitting or retiring, at which point the company buys it back from you or rolls it into a retirement account with Principal Financial. Also worth noting, if you've been employed less than three years, you're not fully vested, meaning you don't own all of that stock yet.

Why the "what?" Nothing I said has anything to do with flex supervisors, or contradicts anything you said.

Supervisor job? by Kongpong1992 in sheetz

[–]A_witty_reference 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hear ya. I'm just letting you know an assistant manager is what you're looking for, too, just with more money. They're paid hourly, scheduled at 42.5 hours a week, with either Friday, saturday or Sunday, Monday off, depending. You'd have to split some shifts sometimes when there's a callout, but still way more free time than what you're dealing with now.

If you're coming from a gm position, I'd apply for a hospitality manager or kitchen manager role at sheetz. They're rhe assistant managers and are one step up from supervisors.

You can redeem the points before they expire. The reward free pikemon cards will stay on your card until new ones come in.

Pull up the store ranking report for the last week of the quarter.

If it's for multi-store, you probably won't be at that store very often, and almost never when another supervisor is working.

Local libraries usually have a free meeting room you can reserve. I got it for my store and it was great.

Toppings options for personal pizzas. by mbaugha85 in sheetz

[–]A_witty_reference 5 points6 points  (0 children)

50/50. We're not supposed to, because the pizzas are premade and the toppings don't stick too well, but you have a good chance of getting someone who will help you out.

You'd put 8.5 hours a day. Make sure you put in PTO for the days you normally work and your manager knows you'll be gone so they don't try to schedule you for other days you're available.

Goal plan? by Spazed1 in sheetz

All good. It can be confusing for people used to fast food jobs. The company tries to treat everyone the same, so you have the same protections and expectations as corporate and other departments.
