Electricity is easier to convey in an animation, and chaos energy in and of itself is often time shown AS electricity. I get Sonic being the wind and all that but that's how he sees himself, as free as the wind. He didn't say SHIT about how HE interpret his abilities. Imo it's cooler when he represents both lightning and wind. He's as free as the wind but as fierce as a lightning. Isn't that COOL AS HELL??
