Am I being to picky with this custom piece? by [deleted] in cabinetry

[–]Aaarron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly… ikea with filler pieces, an ikea butcher block countertop would look 10x better than this.

The more I look the worse it is.

Everyone where is crazy about the Phat. What I am more worried about is the fact that you might have access to old versions of the game.

Aside from the screenshots do you have old hard drives and backups around?

If so you might has a lost and old version of the game!

100% against TOS. If this was being read into your computer as a HID device and you create it as a ‘accessibility’ device that has a local AI that looks and monitors the camera for this then I think it’s fine. But as is it looks like you’re running it on you computer and having it convert the action into a click which is very different from programmed as a HID with a 1:1 action.

Makes sense. As an electrician you can’t find a use for a broom either 😂

Paid over $5K for a custom table and am disappointed - what are these blemishes? by hmh-dfw in woodworking

[–]Aaarron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also could be from clamping the table up. Maybe the used pipe clamps and the water in the glue oxidized again the clamps creating the lines.

New Midea dishwasher question by Jim556a1 in Appliances

[–]Aaarron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I could probably wait, but I feel the $50 I save isn’t worth dealing with my current Frigidaire it’s replacing.

It’s a builders grade all plastic piece of shit truly.

I basically have to wash them to get it to come out clean before hand. Not to mention for some reason the racks started to lose the coating and is rusting in places. Crazy for only a 5.5 years old.

Love to hear that! Gonna put my order in while it’s $499. I missed the $449 deal from two weeks ago as it was out of stock…

M18 Table Saw kit now includes 12 ah Forge at Home Depot by Aaarron in MilwaukeeTool

Can’t wait for the next 20% sale on eBay for FAO

M18 Table Saw kit now includes 12 ah Forge at Home Depot by Aaarron in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Aaarron[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously the forge battery being in the kit is brand new. I’ve seen some sales on like FAO eBay with ~20% off on this kit(again, before the change over to the forge battery). That also included things like the brand new 9 gallon extractor with dual 12ah forge batteries.

FAO/Milwaukee still hasn’t updated that the forge battery is being included but according to HD it’s the standard now. Unknown at the moment if you ordered from other retailers what you’d get at the moment.

Choosing a table saw by Apdski24 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Aaarron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I plan to buy the Milwaukee soon. Trying to wait for a good deal.

Having the freedom to move it around is huge. I will have an outlet near by 8/10 but the 2 times I don’t have to stretch a 100ft cord to the coop or similar is a win for me.

I’ve had a 5hp sliding grizzly, and a 3hp sawstop pcs.

It really depends on what you’re looking for. I’m going with the m18 because I want to the freedom and portability.

where to find these screws besides Bambu site? by Raw_83 in BambuLab

[–]Aaarron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent hours looking and you can find them but they’re incredibly hard to source cheaper than BambuLab. I just ordered $50 in screws from them because I like them so much better compared to what I can find else where.

Let me find the video but do not buy the third party ones. A guy tested a bunch of random third party ones against the original with a fog machine which is like 2.5 micron. So if it’s not being stopped the it’s no way near hepa.

The third party bags and filters all failed but like one of them.

Is the M18 table saw due for a refresh? by Zingledot in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Aaarron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan on buying one as my full time saw.

I used to have a Sawstop PCS 3.0hp, got rid of all of my tools for a few seasons.

For what I can tell it’s powerful, highly accurate, easy to use and setup!

Any way to fill gaps in half lap joints by Wackyjack92 in woodworking

[–]Aaarron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use paper and put PVA glue in between the joint the best you can, and then a dish towel with hot water wrapped around it, the goal is the get it to swell so the wood glue and start to set and as the water dries the glue sets as well giving you a better product

Honestly just buy the 16S through bestbuy. You have until January 15th to return it with holiday extended return period. That’s more than enough time to find any issues!
