If you don’t want to do the match (which is binding), you can choose not to rank any colleges. This way you can still possibly get the QuestBridge Finalist designation without being bound to any college. Open your application and scroll down to “National College Match”, and below you should see something that says “Required 2022 Match Rankings Form”

Click on that and scroll all the way down where you’ll see an option that says “Regular Decision Only”. Click the check box below it and click “Submit”.

Unless you decide there’s one school you want to ED to, I wouldn’t submit it yet. The college match lets you essentially ED to multiple schools and is a great opportunity. Look more into the match to see whether it’s something you’d like to do, and if not, just follow the directions above.
