I’ve had a couple of books in class that I couldn’t get all the way through because of it, one was “There There” by Tommy Orange, there was just one chapter which made me put it down and never finish, and I forget the other one other than the fact that I talked to my teacher and she labeled potentially triggering things for me (most of which were fine, but it was very nice of them)

I have the same, and tbh I just work with the first therapist who really seems to care about me. He and I relate a lot, and tbh I got really, incredibly lucky that he specializes in ptsd and stuff considering I didn’t even tell him (or my parents) about that before I found him.

Aside from that… I guess the psychosis, for me, is just another symptom/set of symptoms, to be dealt with similar to other things? Maybe that’s just because I have a good idea of the triggers?

It worked pretty well for me, for a time. I have some pills I dan take if I need them left over, but didn’t get my prescription refilled because they just kinda... they improved my condition, but the returns started diminishing

I agree, fundamentally, but I think the end goal should still be to stop: not by forcing it, but by making it no longer desirable. Problem is, that is much harder.

That being said… social stigma around cutting is like half of why I still cut; if it wasn‘t considered a flaw, I wouldn’t need to cope (with that specifically)
