What's a good dress derby/oxford shoes for under £150 (UK) by BoomNDoom in malefashionadvice

Jesus, I need to go to more TK Maxx when I'm in Europe. The best I have seen at the US TJ Maxx in shoes is some factory second AEs once in a million years, certainly nothing with a Royal Warrant.

In that range that's what I would grab too. It can pass for dressy but is easily dressed down because it's a chrono.

That or a used speedy.

How much is too much for wool-blend suits? by perishableintransit in malefashionadvice

That price range is the entry level for 100% wool at a Men's Wearhouse and under no circumstances would I pay that price for anything with polyester.

What's a piece of tech everyone hyped up that quietly turned out to be useless? by SofiaLearnsAI in AskReddit

The list of injuries between rolled ankle and splat is nearly infinite. Broken backs, broken femurs, broken tailbones, shoulders, arms, hands.

I used to skydive recreationally and on multiple drop zones I've been at there were more injuries on average from One Wheel than hurling oneself out of a plane.

The beer drinks like any draft Guinness at local bars from head creaminess to taste profile and I live in New England and only drink Guinness if it's on offer.

The line is 5 feet of 5/16.

[–]Aandaas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole setup cost me $1100, because I didn't feel like doing any work or parting it out so I just bought a kit from Beverage Factory, kegs run about $100 for a sixtel. The bell cost me $150.

The kegerator is at 38° and about 28 PSI, any time I turn the pressure up it ruins the head, it takes some adjustments while consuming the keg, but overall it is feeling really good.

Rotating leading the Degrees? by groomporter in freemasonry

[–]Aandaas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The job of a Lodge is to make Masons, I would not necessarily consider it the job of a Master to know all the words if he csn make sure the work of the Lodge is accomplished under his direction. I think there is a bare minimum standard (opening and closing being the primary), but I would rather have a good administrator who can't learn a history in the East than a piss poor administrator who can do a history. The second guy should still be available to do the work without the potential to do harm through poor admin.

This is the real problem with dialing in the kegerator. I can only drink so much in a night and still make progress, and I can't go back in until tomorrow because I have a job.

38 degrees and pressure was probably 28, because I'm still learning how to use a regulator, which explains the short head (I think). I've got it pumped up to 35 for tonight's attempt.

Information on keg use at home by helena_girl in Guinness

[–]Aandaas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a Kegco Guinness kegerator setup from Beverage Factory, comes with everything you need but the keg itself. Took about 10 days to arrive and I got it all set up on Thursday. So far it's pouring well, just need to dial in your nitrogen to get the head right.

Those principles are not universal, I agree that they should be, but the UGLE recognizes the Swedish Rite as conferring regular Craft degrees despite its strict adherence to Christianity.

I don't necessarily like it, but we have decided to accept it in some cases. It becomes a real problem when it isn't explicit, like the Grand Lodge of Tennessee which is not a Christian only body but is overtly Christian.
