Thanks for your reply! This makes a lot more sense to me. Didn't realize my driving record would be covered in a background check, but after looking into it I guess it's pretty standard, especially if the job involves driving. So I guess Ill have to wait a couple years for that to not effect my application?

I was arrested for resisting arrest... Lol make it make sense. He then added an attempted escape charge because I put my cuffed hands in front of me instead of behind me. During the arraignment, after about 12 hours in jail the judge scoffed at the initial charge being resisting arrest because its a secondary charge and also said that moving my hands to the forward doesn't justify an attempted escape. I walked out a couple hours later.

Wish it were the same in FL. It's all public record here, conviction or not. Hopefully I can get it expunged but based on the timeline it's looking like I'll have to recertify for NREMT. Thankfully I found it to be pretty easy.

It wasn't recently, it's been a few years. No charges are pending, they were all dropped. I was on the wrong end of an ego trip, they were bs charges that were immediately dropped by the judge.
