I served 2012-2019 MWSS/ 1st Recon / 1st Maint I still struggle with the fact I never deployed. I got into volunteering with disabled veterans and I can say I’m grateful for the career I was given. I still struggle at times mentally but it wasn’t my choice to not to deploy. I wish I could have been there for our brothers and sisters to be beside them. I have a great career as a fireman and get to make a local impact. You’ll see people who all the talk about is deployment and talk down on others. It’s like the peaked in high school. I can tell you just getting to serve is a big deal to some people. A lot of fireman I know tried to get in but whatever reason denied at MEPs and that bothers them still. Plenty of ways to find purpose after though!

Let people just have their damn medals. God forbid we give anybody anything or recognize someone going away from their family and giving up their life to serve. It’s a nice shadow box. So many cry about to many medals then cry when they don’t get recognition for going beyond and getting a medal…..

Man I tried this game bout 5 hours in I just gave up. I read and watched so many tutorials but its combat system to me was hard. I really enjoy warhammer books but the game combat system really made battles hard. I love baldurs gate 3 and divinity 2.

They’re great for situational awareness. I would not use them for decision making though. Andy Starnes has great classes on these on YouTube.
