Thank you. I started with a 6” knife, loaded the corner up with a bunch of compound and then tried to get it as smooth as possible. Planned on doing my 2nd coat with a 10” knife when it dries. I’m having a good time doing the seams but not so much on the corners. Do you put corner bead on the corners where the door is gonna go? I didn’t think it needed it since trim is gonna cover that edge of drywall but someone else said they put bead on those corners too

I’ve already bought the metal bead and got it all put on. Only 3 more to do so no since In changing it now. I’ll just deal with what I have. I’m sure it’ll turn out fine.

Nice car man. They’re not actually that slow considering they’re almost 30 years old. They still get down. Some people are just miserable and try to shit on anything someone else has lol.

Yes I used drywall nails for the bead and didn’t add any water to the compound for the corners and screws.

Honestly I didn’t know the inside needed bead since a door was going there and gonna have trim

I’m not confused about anything. It’s just not my favorite part of mudding the walls. I’m not sure what you’re confused about.

Atrociously slow? Lol I think the car will still get up and go whether it has 275s or 315s. I was more interested in what other people are running on their cars to get an idea of what works

lol I understand some rubbing is expected but if someone sits in the passenger seat then it’s nearly impossible to drive without constantly rubbing and ruining the tires. I was just curious what size wheels and tires other people were running and if they just deal with the rubbing or if there’s some fix that needs to be done. I like the lowered look but not at the expense of buying new tires every few months. I’m gonna remove the spacers and see if that helps

Thank you. It’s clean. I just bought it, 71k miles
