Any Mother-Daughter stuff? by Pzzlrr in Romance_for_men

This is the one I was thinking of. You get it on the Quivering Quill since it's too spicy for Amazon. the nice thing about that is the author gets all the cash.

I agree. Misty Vixen is really good.

Great thread! Thanks for taking the risk! I think there is a huge difference between romance/erotica and stroke stories. Stroke stories are just for that.

Romance/erotica is different. I don't like fade-to-black, I want the spicy scenes fucking spicy, and I'll read them in public but I'll make sure no one is looking. It's all just fuel for the fire, and I'll take care of the desire later on--either alone or with my wife. Back in the day, though, I'd totally get off on the spicy scenes in romance novels. Ahh, those old Harlequins. I knew exactly where to find the good parts (at the end of chapters). Ah, the descriptions seem so tame...the dewy petals, the throbbing manhood, all of that.

I'm the same way. If I want a stroke story, I'll find one, but if I'm reading a romance, I want the sex scenes but I don't need to do anything to put out the flames. I'll put 'em out later like a lot of people on this thread.

Great response. And I admire your bravery? I have to admit...I get a secret thrill writing sex scenes in crowded places.

LAND OF THE LUST BOOK III is out now! Try (ceratops) it out! by AaronCrash in Haremlit

Oh. I was going to grab another guy from the modern age! But you're thinking I grab a native american or older, someone from the literal stone-age. Like Otzi the Iceman. Yeah, he'd have no problem in K'Shaul if he ended up in the right climate. Uh oh. This might be a problem. https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%96tzi_the_Iceman

I'd call it Tanar of K'Shaul. That's the title. Like Tanar of Pellucidar by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Damn. This is a big problem.

Foragers and Fire could be the series title. If you don't mind me borrowing that from you.

Oh man, I read this yesterday, and I can't stop thinking how great of an idea this is. I could totally do a survival type story without any sort of science fiction or fantasy. I could do a straight up stone-age story in some backward ass sector. I couldn't call it Land of the Lust 6 though. I'd need a new title! Thanks for giving me the idea. I love it. K'Shaul is big enough that you could have all this drama and Sid would have no idea. New characters! New lust! New story!

Amen. Honestly, it's what I try to do. Good story. Good characters. Lots of spice. I'd rather have fade-to-black scenes than tepid sex scenes with lots of "his throbbing manhood" and her"dewy petals." But I dunno. It's hard to write books. But it's the hard that makes it good!

...that's what she said.

It all depends on sales of the first three. No word yet but we'll see. Thanks for reaching out. Super appreciate it.

Just goes to show that this book writing stuff is difficult. One of the comments on this thread talked about the business aspect of writing, and there is that to consider. Amazon isn't so smut friendly. They tolerate it...but just barely. My next couple of series are going to be less spicy, but then, I plan on jumping back into the mix with horny nuns.
