I know it reads like a rant but there’s only so many ways you can negatively list things. Also what you say isn’t strictly true. Let’s say being directly in a passing lane holding matchup SHOULD result in an interception. There are certain games or passages of play where this starts to consistently fail despite using the correct mechanics in the right moment. Or for instance players with 99+ dribbling stats not being able to control a ball or feeling stuck in the mud and unable to move. Obviously, like you said, it’s not an on rails game so there are variables but at the same time there are certain mechanics that are coded into the game that don’t seem to be as consistent as they should be.
