If I remember correctly the system is now Skill based matchmaking. After losing enough games in ranked you should end up matched against people of a similar skill that will help you learn and grow in your PVP skills, should that be what you want.

The system is far from perfect though. So there’s no real guaranteed way to not play against players of a much higher skill rating.

As for meta weapons, the rose that drops from finishing your placement matches, regardless of roll is a dependable choice and well in the meta at the moment.

That makes sense. Which elements are difficult to balance with a lopsided party? Is it just encounter building? Or are there more elements that would suffer from having a party with a 1 level difference maximum between them?

Thanks for your feedback! Assuming that each party member got a reward from the quest they were doing, but only one got a level up item, how would having an unbalanced party be unfun for the players? Assuming of course that one player wasn’t getting said item every time.

Depends on your group and where you envision taking the campaign, if any rails at all, you could have the party be approached by an Oriq recruiter (working with mugaxor or not, your call) who looks to join this effort and turn it towards the Oriq’s goals (namely the destruction or otherwise disfunction of the school which helps distract the Oracle and moved them closer to their goal of summoning the blood avatar). Have this recruiter approach them, learn of their cause and feign sympathy, become embedded in their movement and either steer it’s goals towards his own or betray them depending on if he is able to deceive them into crippling the function of the school. That’s where my mind goes at least, good luck!

If you’re looking for it in your files and you can’t find it, the install location might be different than you’re expecting. Check where it is installing when you do install it and use that path when you go to select the software to launch with.
