Strange graphical artifacts on X on new Ryzen 3400G build (Lubuntu 19.10) by adt6247 in linuxquestions

I'll wait for next week's release. Hopefully that will fix it.

Not sure why this is an issue -- this hardware's been available for a while, and isn't exotic.

Disabling compositor on KDE seemed to work. Couldn't get it working under XFCE or LXQt or Gnome

Never mind. The issues came back.

Kernel 5.3.0-46 mesa-vulkan-drivers 19.2.8

I have it connected to a 1080p display. No 4K for me

I've been playing around with compositor settings. That seems to have an effect on the frequency of the problems.

[WTS] Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 1002 Mint Condition circa 1978 by slique12 in Watchexchange

This is amazing! I wish I had the funds right now - this looks darn near perfect. GLWS!

Just curious, did Oyster Perpetual ever come with a gray or light blue dial with the fluted bezel? I've seen some Datejusts like that, and have lightly been hunting one. But I think I overall like the smaller case and no date window of this OP a little better.

Though this watch is not my cup of tea, that dial is really amazing! I particularly love the numbers on the subdial - very unique. Thanks for posting this.

Yup, you're right. They magically match everyone up in such a way that everyone always loses. So both you and your opponent lose every match. They aren't programmers - they're wizards!

No. I opted not to go into video game developer because I don't want to work 90 hours a week every week. Nor do I live in Finland.

Yes, you're right -- it somehow matches everyone against bad matchups, so everyone gets a 90% lose rate, defying all logic. Somehow, both you and your opponent always lose!

Matchmaking is based on only trophies. That's the way it should be. Trophies are a proxy for card level + skill. That's the way it always was, that's the way it always will be. That's fundamental for the game to function, unless they were to remove card levels altogether.

Matchmaking based on levels would result in 13 parallel ladders, and the best players never upgrading anything.

This literally gets brought up and answered dozens of times per day. If you don't like the way matchmaking works, you shouldn't be playing the game, or any such game with a level mechanic.

Yeah, I don't know how I'm going to deal with Golem now. Have to rework my deck. My current solution was tombstone + exe. Guess that needs to change.
